Could you already book an appointment at the embassy? We had a look at their homepage: the next appointments they offer are up from the 15th of August. If not yet done, you should book soon because if you ll have your termin at the end of August, there wont be enough time till the exchange starts - since the embassy ll take again 2-3 weeks to work on your visa. That means that in worst case you cant take part on the exchange.
